    Noticia: Theatre of Tragedy pone fin a su carrera musical Theatre-of-tragedy-hide-and-seek

    Con el título de “El teatro se ha cerrado”, la agrupación noruega Theatre of Tragedy pone fin a su larga carrera musical de 17 años. Según comenta la banda, no ha sido una decisión fácil, y ya lo habían acordado durante la producción de su último álbum en estudio titulado Forever is the world, además agradecen a todos sus fans, y a todos los que los apoyaron a través de los años.
    Recordemos que por esta banda pasó la gran vocalista Liv Kristine, quien se alejó de la banda en el 2003, siendo reemplazada por Nell Sigland. La fecha cuando se cerrará definitivamente el teatro será el 2 de Octubre del 2010.

    Creo que ya tuvieron una larga y espectacular carrera, dieron y nos dejaron lo mejor de ellos, por eso no me afecta que se separen, al igual que cuando After Forever se separó.

    Fueron y siemrpe serán una de las más grandes bandas de Gothic / Symphonic metal... siendo ellos los que de alguna manera u otra, popularizaron el famoso "Beauty & the Beast" (término dado a voz femenina lírica + voz masculina gutural).

    A mi me dejan más que satisfecho Smile

    es bueno cuando se separan en el momento justo, disfrutaron y fueron muy felices. Peor es cuando ves una banda q ya va a la decadencia, que no eas lo mismo q era y no dejan su carrera, lo cual es peor, para mi salir por la puerta grande y en buen estado es lo mejor.

    THE THEATRE IS CLOSING DOWN

    After nearly 17 years in existence Theatre of Tragedy has decided to call it a day and close down.
    This has not been an easy decision to make and we have thought about this for a long long time. We finally agreed to this during the production of our latest album "Forever is the world".

    Theatre of Tragedy will come to an end on October 2nd 2010, exactly 17 years after we started making music together.
    Over the years all of us have strived to combine the Theatre with everyday life but in the end it has proven more and more difficult.
    We have come to appreciate our family lives and jobs, which makes it very hard to continue this life of rock'n'roll on the road.

    We know that some of you will probably be very disappointed, but we also hope you will continue to listen to our music, which all of you learned to appreciate and love so much.

    We want to thank everyone of you for all your support over the past 17 years!
    Theatre of Tragedy wouldn't have been possible without you!
    Be sure to catch us on the last Theatre of Tragedy shows ever this year! The final gig will take place on October 2nd in Stavanger, where it all began.

    Our music will live on... and forever is the world.
